Receipt and Personal Data
- Evangel Children’s Home (hereinafter referred to as “ECH”) is a qualified charitable organization registered in Hong Kong. Charity donations of HK$100 or above are tax deductible in Hong Kong with our donation receipt.
- If you need a donation receipt from ECH, the donor must clearly fill in your registered name, mobile and email address, mailing address is optional in the online form. The request of receipt box should be ticked and the information in receipt required fields must be correct, for us to issue a receipt by either email or mail. If the system does not receive a click on whether to receive a receipt, an email receipt will be issued.
- As regards one-off successful donation, for either email or mail receipt is selected in the online form, the receipt will be issued within 6 – 8 weeks accordingly. As regards successful monthly donation, the receipt will be issued and sent annually within one month’s time (i.e. April) after the end of every fiscal year accordingly.
- Donors who need to update the personal information, to cease from receiving newsletter and latest news, or to update the way to receive (by email or mail), please make a written request to ECH (via e-mail: info@ech.org.hk; by fax: 2322 4908 or by post: 120 Shatin Pass Road, Wong Tai Sin, Kowloon), attention to Resources Development and Communication Department. However, for any access and correction of personal data, under certain circumstances, data users may refuse to comply with the request in accordance with the Ordinance and relevant exemptions.
Cancellation of Donation
- If the online donation is successful, the account will be debited immediately. Once the account is debited, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
- If the monthly donation is successful, it will be deducted on the same day and also on the same day each month.
- If you need to apply to cease the monthly donation, you must apply in writing (via email: info@ech.org.hk; by fax: 2322 4908 or by post: 120 Shatin Pass Road, Wong Tai Sin, Kowloon), attention to Resources Development and Communication Department, at least ten working days before the deduction date. Please provide personal information to verify the identity of the donor. If the application is successful, the donation will be cancelled and the donation will stop on the next deduction day.
- To ensure the safety of updating your credit card information, if the credit card information of the monthly donor is updated, you must re-register the information in ECH’s website form and restart the monthly donation payment before you can donate again.
- If your credit card expires in the next month of deduction day and you will continue to support ECH with monthly donations, please contact ECH (info@ech.org.hk) for follow-up. Please provide personal information for verifying the identity of the donor, including receipt name, mobile number, email address, and provide the donation confirmation email sent by ECH for verification (if cannot provide, please send an email to ECH with the same email address). You will be notified of your Donor ID number which belongs to ECH. Please register again your information in the form from ECH’s website and restart the monthly donation payment. Fill in the donor ID number so that your donation amount can be accumulated in the same account.

Safety and Protection
All received online donations are processed by AsiaPay through “PayDollar” payment gateway, which is the designated online service provider of Evangel Children’s Home.
