Guiding with “Truth”:
We truly believe that every child in ECH is a beloved sheep of God’s. We cherish all these lovely children who are entrusted by God to us by providing them a cozy home. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we do our utmost to put God’s precious words in our children’s hearts. Through gatherings and individual pastoral care for our children, we strive to help them become “good soils”. We believe God will enrich them with His care, love, and healing, from which they may get to know, accept, and trust God, learn to see the world through God’s eyes, and follow God’s will throughout their lives.
Going God’s “Way”
In the eyes of God, every child is unique, competent and gifted in their own ways. Though some children may seem inherently limited or haunted by past traumas, they are still chosen by God to become much cherished “vessels”. We are eager to nurture our children to worship the Lord, practice His words, cultivate their spiritual characters, and identify themselves as God’s children who are going to imitate Christ and walk on the path of God’s good will.
Walking with God on the Path of “Life”
We endeavor to nurture our children to become Disciples of Christ through participation in church and fellowship gatherings at ECH, so that they may learn how to get along with fellows and love each other. In addition, there is a “Relaxing for a moment” here for church friends to visit, care for and serve our children regularly as well as for our children to experience the blessing of church life. Besides, there are other gatherings like “Gathering together”, “Evening Prayer”, “Disciple Group”, “Spiritual Group”, “Bible Study Group”, “Worship Group” and “Basketball Team”, etc. These group activities equip our children to develop their gifts and commit to the way of God, from which they will not deviate even when old.
Be instant in season or out of season, we still urge that
“Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof.”

Home Care services in Christian Faith
In base of Christian faith, Ms. Ruth Sundquist, founded Evangel Children’s Home, so same the mission, core value and work orientation of ECH which is always based on. We take up the important role of nurturing children and youth in the love and example of our Jesus Christ, build a family life and walk through crisis with children hand in hand. The spiritual development of frontline staff is always prioritized / valued as they give fresh impetus to the spiritual cultivation of children and youth.
